About Academia de Español Quito

Academia de Español Quito (AEQ), study abroad Spanish as a Second Language school in Quito, the capital of Ecuador.

AEQ was established in 1982 with the mission to promote the study and practice of Spanish as well as to share Ecuador with students of all ages from all over the world.

Our Spanish Learning Programs help students to gain a quick understanding of the language, with a greater scope of the culture and people of Latin America. All learning programs include lectures, discussion, and the invaluable experience of visiting Ecuador with the option to live in an Ecuadorian family.

AEQ is open year round and students may start classes any day of the week, but a reservation needs to be placed. The school is located in a central area of modern Quito and has travel programs in different locations in Ecuador.

Tuition includes: lessons, airport pick up, placement test on first day of classes, library material, certificate of completion, city map of Quito, tourist information, e-mail access, postal service, and luggage room.

AEQ's Location

The school is located in the commercial core of modern Quito, easily accessible by public transportation and close to banks, restaurants, internet cafes, shopping and many tourist attractions.
